Another use of the wide angle lens to induce vertigo, and another demonstration of why it rocks to be a photographer for the military. There aren’t too many other jobs where you can hang shoot this kind of action. Now that we’re done gloating (not that there’s anything wrong with pictures of flowers and butterflies), look at how the rope gives you a visual clue — these aren’t two photos superimposed over one another. How else would you have emphasized the distance to the ground?
