Primarily it’s a list of resources to help writers and editors working for the armed services do their jobs better. Right now I’m the only one posting, but if you’d like to help out, send a message to neal.snyder on Army Knowledge Online.

There’s used to be a forum. When mil-editors-l shut down, I became nostalgic for the kind of professional development and camaraderie available on the Army’s late PA-Link forum, and set it up. It turned out I’m not too much of a moderator. I found out I’m much better at blogging, especially when I get to rant on about others’ work. I recommend using the active forums on AKO or your service’s equivalent.

BTW: I’m Neal Snyder, editor of Environmental Update and your host/owner/moderator.  I encourage you to leave your comments, either on blog entries, via e-mail (I’m on AKO) or within the forum.
