The Civilian Personnel Advisory Center is made up of a team of human resources professionals dedicated to supporting and empowering service members, civilian employees , families and veterans worldwide in an era of persistent conflict. The Civilian Personnel Advisory Center recruits, retains and sustains a high quality volunteer force through innovative and effective enterprise solutions and ensures human resources readiness of the Total Army across the full spectrum of operations. CPAC support services include Appropriated Fund (AF) and Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) recruitment, staffing, position management, classification, labor relations, management-employee relations, workforce planning and benefits and entitlements.
The Directorate of Emergency Services (DES) is made up of Office of the Provost Marshal and the Fort Myer Fire Department. The purpose of Emergency Services is to provide law enforcement, security and ceremonial support to Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall and the United States Army Military District of Washington.

Family Housing at Joint Base Myer Henderson Hall consists of 88 historic dwelling units on Fort Myer, Virginia and Fort McNair, Washington DC. Family housing is very limited and although all officer quarters are designated for key and essential positions there are limited quantities of enlisted quarters available on a first come basis.
