The DES consists of Law Enforcement (LE), Physical Security (PS), Fire and Emergency Services (F&ES) and Protection (P). Fire and Emergency Services (F&ES) Branch covers Incident Command and mitigation of all Installation emergency responses, Emergency Dispatch Centers, All-Hazard response operations, Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting operations, and Fire Prevention/Public Education Programs.
* If you are going in to the canyons and along the trails in the game management areas to sight see, bird watch, or just see a different side of Fort Huachuca it is imperative you come to the MP station to sign out/in.
This will assist us with accountability in the event of an emergency. We are in Fire season and approaching Monsoon season which increases the possibility of an emergency occurring requiring our Law Enforcement Team to evacuate areas. This is for the safety of our community. As an example we had a fire earlier this week and our Law Enforcement located over 20 persons in Garden Canyon that had not signed out.
